How far is the hotel from airports / train / tube stations?
The Lanesborough is located on Hyde Park Corner (postcode SW1X 7TA). The hotel is located next to Hyde Park Corner London Underground (Tube) Station, serving the Piccadilly Line which has direct access to London Heathrow. The hotel is well serviced by London Black Cabs (taxis) and is a convenient location for collection and drop-off for apps (such as Uber, Wheely, MyTaxi and Addison Lee).
By Tube, please allow up to one hour to travel from Hyde Park Corner to London Heathrow.
Victoria Railway station is located nearby The Lanesborough, 15 minutes by foot or five minutes by car / taxi. From Victoria Railway station, you can take numerous trains directly to Gatwick Airport, taking on average 45 minutes.

What is the check-in time and check-out time?
Check-in time at The Lanesborough is 15:00 and check-out time is 12:00. Early check-ins and late check-outs may be accommodated and are subject to charge. Precise information can be shared by our reservations team upon confirming your room. Click here to email the Reservations team.
Do we have disabled / accessible rooms?
Yes, there are a number of accessible rooms at The Lanesborough with features such as a raised toilet, grab rails, adjustable showerhead and wheel-in shower cubicles. There is also an accessible bathroom located on the ground floor of the hotel.

The Lanesborough has 93 individually designed rooms and suites, 46 of which are suites.
How many meeting rooms are at The Lanesborough?

Is there a cigar bar at the hotel?
Yes, The Garden Room is located on the lower-ground floor of the hotel and features a wide variety of Cuban and pre-Castro cigars. Click here for more information on the Garden Room.
Does The Lanesborough have a car park?
The Lanesborough offers valet parking service through our Doormen. The doorman will securely park your car at a rate of £20 for up to two hours; £40 for up to six hours and £60 overnight.
Are pets allowed?
We are happy to welcome furry four-legged friends, with most small-medium sized dogs able to stay with their owners in the room or suite. With sufficient notice, the butler team may happily assist with dog-walking.
Are there smoking rooms?
A small number of rooms and suites at The Lanesborough are smoking rooms. Smoke odour is efficiently 100% removed by the Housekeeping team.
Are there rooms with separate showers?
Yes, most of our rooms and suites have a separate shower. Our Reservations team will be glad to advise particular details.
Is there a swimming pool at The Lanesborough?
The Lanesborough Club & Spa houses a spacious hydro pool.
Are children allowed in the hydro pool?
Yes, children under the age of 18 are permitted to use the pool Monday – Friday between 3pm – 4.30pm and Saturday & Sunday from 5pm – 6pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times on a ratio of two children per adult. Selected spa treatments can be booked for 16 and 17 year olds, when accompanied by an adult.
Are there daily fitness classes?
Yes, The Lanesborough Club & Spa offers a wide variety of fitness classes each day which are complimentary for guests staying at The Lanesborough. The weekly timetable can be viewed here by clicking here.
What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept Amex, MasterCard and Visa. Please note we do not accept payment by cheque.
What is the dress code at The Lanesborough?
We operate a smart-casual dress code throughout the hotel. The same dress code applies to our dining outlets including our Michelin-starred restaurant Céleste.
What are the opening hours of the hotel and outlets?
The hotel is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Céleste is open from 7.00am to 10.30am serving breakfast; 12.00pm to 2.30pm for dinner. Afternoon Tea in Céleste is served from Monday to Friday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and Saturday and Sunday from 3.00pm to 4.30pm.
Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed elsewhere in the hotel including in your room or suite from 12.30pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and from 12.30pm to 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The Lanesborough Club & Spa Restaurant is open from 7.00am to 8.30pm daily.
The Library Bar is open from Monday to Saturday between 11.00am and 1.00am. On Sundays and Public Holidays the bar is open from 12.00pm to 12.00am.
The Withdrawing Room is open from Monday to Saturday between 8.00am and 1.00am. On Sundays and Public Holidays The Withdrawing Room is open from 8.00am and 12.00am.
The Garden Room is open all week from 2.00pm until late.
Please note specific seasons hours (during Christmas and certain Public Holidays may differ to the hours stated here).
Do you take reservations in The Library Bar and the Garden Room?

How much does it cost to host a wedding/rent an event space?

Are children permitted in Céleste?
Yes, we welcome children under the age 16 however they must be accompanied by an adult. Identification may be required when ordering alcohol.
How can the butler team assist during the stay?
Butler service is offered for all rooms and suites at The Lanesborough as a complimentary amenity. Butlers are at your service throughout your stay at The Lanesborough. Your dedicated Butler will be happy to: assist with packing and unpacking your luggage; assist with your laundry; provide a welcome tea or coffee upon arrival and much more.
Do I have my own dedicated butler throughout the stay (same for all days)?
Due to the nature of the work, specific Butlers may not be able to tend to your room throughout your entire stay, however specific requests may be accommodated with sufficient notice.
What is our accommodation cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy when booking rooms and suites at The Lanesborough varies however in general, cancellations permitted up to two days prior to arrival; cancellations must be made before 2pm local time. In the event of a no show, one night will be charged. Please note specific rates may encounter a varied policy. Our Reservations team will be glad to advise particular details.
Is there a hair salon at The Lanesborough?
Yes, a hair salon is located on the upper-ground floor of the hotel which is opened for specific appointments. Your Butler or the Concierge team will be glad to arrange your appointment.
What is the corkage fee?
The standard corkage fee is £30 per bottle.
In Céleste, how do we acknowledge a guest’s birthday?
The team will be happy to offer a birthday plate with the words 'Happy Birthday' inscripted with chocolate, served with a selection of mini pastries. Upon request, our resident florist can prepare a bouquet to your preference and our Pastry team can create specific cakes to meet your budget.
