Progress in the Kaminhalle

The walls in our beautiful Kaminhalle have been carefully painted and restored to their original splendour. A new carpet now adorns the venerable room, which adjoins the Winter Garden restaurant and the Oleander Bar. During the modernisation work, the offers of the Kaminhalle are continued in Le Salon of Villa Stéphanie. We can not wait to welcome our honoured guests back to the Kaminhalle with live classical music. 

Timeless design

The first rooms aare beginning to be cafefully wallpapered. A total of 27 individual design concepts were developed for the 79 rooms in the main building, uniquely emphasising the character of each room. The interior design was in the hands of Bergit Gräfin Douglas and her renowned company MM Design from Frankfurt, with whom the hotel is in constant dialogue. Proven design expertise and close collaboration flow into the design to create a harmonious and stylish ambience for guests.

A reunion coming soon

Few rooms are as recognisable as our iconic lobby. Progress can also be seen here, while the ceiling is being carefully closed and all cables and pipes are disappearing. The walls have also been plastered and the beautiful stucco painted, so it's only a matter of time before our honoured guests can walk through the historic revolving door again.

We are excited about the upcoming weeks and months as we progress with the renovation of our main building. We will keep you updated regularly on the progress and provide you with exclusive insights into the changes our hotel is undergoing.
