3 Perfect Days - Day 3
Slow the Pace
Perfect for a lazy morning, trawl London’s best flea market can be found at Notting Hill’s Portobello Market. It’s a great place for bargain antiques, exploring the colourful streets and it also has some great eateries for brunch.
Stroll from The Lanesborough to Hyde Park and from there enter Kensington Gardens, where you will find Kensington Palace, home to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. This year, a new exhibition celebrates the life of Diana, Princess of Wales. Trace the evolution of the Princess’s style, from the demure, romantic outfits of her first public appearances, to the glamour, elegance and confidence of her later life. Don’t miss an extraordinary collection of garments, including the iconic velvet gown, famously worn at the White House when the Princess danced with John Travolta.
Royal Albert Hall
One of the UK’s most treasured and distinctive buildings, on the northern edge of South Kensington, catching a concert or performance here is a must. The world’s greatest classical music festival, the BBC proms, takes place here each year during the Summer and Cirque du Soleil is typically performed in the winter months.
Dinner in Céleste
