Hawskbill Turtle Program

Jumby Explorers in partnership with the Jumby Bay Hawksbill Project offers children the incredible opportunity to observe hawksbill sea turtle nesting on Pasture Bay Beach during the mating season of June to November. Lucky guests present during hatching season are invited to assist conservationists in releasing the hatchlings into the sea– an eye-opening experience for young minds. Kids wishing to pursue the conservation effort further can “adopt” a hawksbill sea turtle and track its progress through the nesting season via Jumby Bay’s turtle conservation Facebook page.
