Ensure Human Rights
Group Equality Label
This aims to ensure there is no unlawful discrimination and harassment and we promote equality of opportunity for all.
Only provide sustainably sourced fish for all staff canteens and guest restaurants.
We ensure all Nespresso capsules are recycled and we communicate results of the recycling programme to all to offer full transparency.
Source sustainable coffee and tea only as this ensures farmers’ right to fair payment, decent working conditions, & fair terms of trade.
Use only free range and organic eggs and avoid purchasing meat from intensive mass animal farms.
Avoid plastic products in-room as well as back of house.
Use only ecological cleaning & laundry products.
We ensure each property has a recycling system in place for both back and front of house trash.
LED lighting in all hotels.
We use FSC or sustainably certified paper and aim for paperless communication.
Do not plant non-native invasive species to ensure the longevity of the entire native ecosystem surrounding our hotels.
We strive to source our energy from renewable sources.
We provide a fleet of sustainable vehicles for guest use.
We identify, plan and conduct for infrastructural improvements to reduce each property's water consumption.
Ensure Environmental Awareness
We give our guests the choice to change their towels and sheets at two days interval.
We support charities through:
Giving Bags: provide the guest with the possibility to donate their clothes to charity.
Bathroom amenities and soaps: giving to charities that have recycling programs for these.
Create CSR events to engage staff and guests throughout the year.
We strive to communicate our CSR activities both internally with our staff as well as on our External Communication channels.
We commit to recruiting one new CSR team member at each property per year to keep our staff engaged in all our activities.
We are implementing an employee car sharing scheme where public transport does not cover a way to work.
Engage with Sustainable Communities
We communicate about our local products and dishes in room service and restaurant menus.
We provide responsible purchasing supplier questionnaire to suppliers with greatest impact on hotel’s costs in order to have full transparency on our supply chain.
An annual report on our supply chain will be included in our UN Global Compact Report.
We foster relationships with local and artisanal enterprises in order to ensure we have a healthy local economy from surrounding our hotels.
At each hotel we support one local and one international charity for people less privileged than ourselves. Plus we work with a charity which focusses on preserving one local endangered species.
